Brilliant
When looking for a suitable pre-school for my first born, Little Companions stood out from all the rest. The loving and nurturing environment made my daughter feel like she was home and picking her up with a smile every day reinforced the fact that I'd made the right choice. I would highly recommend Little Companions to all parents!

Amazing nursery with Dedicated staff
You have surpassed all the qualities that I value within an early years setting, providing an excellent and appropriate learning environment alongside dedicated and loving staff. A.B enjoyed his time with you very much and he is still asking when he can go back to see Naazish and Reema again. Thank you so much

Quality Pre-School
Our youngest child has attended Little Companions since it opened, and both us and him are extremely happy with the nursery.
Our son loves the nursery and looks forward to attending every day, which must be a testament to the inviting and friendly nature of Little Companions.
The teaching staff and assistants are friendly and open, but firm when they need to be. Coupled with there informal nature and surroundings, it has meant our son has bonded well with a number of them, so much so that he now thinks of some as them as family.
From joining as a shy quiet boy, he naturally had reservations, however they helped him to settle in, and have now made him into a confident little boy who has an appetite to learn and express himself.
They regularly send updates on what the children will be tackling next, and we are similarly kept up to date with his progress, both formally and informally.
When we have had concerns with our son, the staff are willing to listen and offer advice to resolve. He learns well, which must be down to the techniques they use and he constantly surprises us at home with his knowledge.
Having older children, we have had experiences with both private montessori and nursery's, however have found Little Companions to be by far, the best. We would have no hesitation recommending this nursery, and which we have already done to a number of friends, and will be sad to leave them when our son starts School.

Quality Pre-School
During my three week placement at Little Companions my time spent there was extremely beneficial! All the members of staff was lovely to work with and was consistently professional. At first when I was told by my university I had to complete an additional 3 week placement after the course was finished it was a very stressful period, but as soon as I attended my first day at Little Companions all stress seemed to fade away very fast. The staff was all very welcoming and as for the management, I don't think they could of made any more time for me, ensuring that I was constantly kept up to date as to why they did what they did.
I was able to pick up a lot of tips and pointers from Naazish (Manager) about speech and language for EAL children (which I can personally say is not my strongest point) and made it sound very simple to replicate, as well as lots of other teaching strategies and techniques.
In comparison to my own setting it gave me a strong insight about the importance of helping those in the community around us. Little Companions has inspired me to encourage my current setting to do what we can for the community around us.
The nursery overall was a educational eye opening experience, it was very clear to see that all the members of staff are very passionate about their jobs, and because of this the children have thrived educationally and emotionally!

Staff testimonial during Covid
Dear Naazish and Reema,
Having been a year since the covid pandemic started, I wanted to take this opportunity to write to you, to thank you for all you have done.
The pandemic came without notice and all of a sudden we found ourselves in a situation where we had to lock down the setting.
If it was not for your positive and pro-active leadership, we would have been at a loss as staff, and the children would have also lost an educational year.
You assured us we would not lose our jobs, and that we should not worry about finances, if we had any difficulties we could approach you without hesitation. You literally took all our worries off of our shoulders. You encouraged us to keep on going from home and the transition to online teaching was quick and smooth. We quickly learnt to connect with each other over zoom, having weekly staff meetings, you constantly updated us and reassured us that we can get past all of the hurdles before us.
You did not let us lose our connection with the children, weekly planning was sent to parents via email, with all of the curriculum areas covered, links were sent to stories and resources online.
Activities were adapted to those that could be done in the home environment with simple resources to not over burden the parents. Unlike any other nursery or pre-school setting, online zoom sessions were held with all children, 3 times a week, the children were able to connect not only with the each other but with all the staff.
These sessions provided the children with fun interactive story times and activities with parents having been given emails before to prepare resources. Further phonic sessions were also held for the older children, ensuring that they were still being extended despite being at home. You provided the reception children with activities tailored to their needs, even posting out a set of resources for them to ensure that all their educational requirements were fulfilled. Children were given the opportunity to talk to any staff members directly if they missed them.
I know all of this was very much appreciated by the parents as well as the children, As staff we adapted to zoom sessions with your guidance and also were encouraged to provide our key children with focus activities.
Even at home, in a pandemic situation, we as staff were able to broaden our skill set, learning how to film and edit fun videos for the children.
When it was time for Early years settings to re-open you informed us of all the changes needed, assured us we would be in a safe environment, and adapted the setting to fulfil the new requirements set by the department for education, You knew not all children would return and continued to provide some online sessions for those not attending. You have continued to update us on any changes announced by the government, the department of education and Hillingdon borough and have provided us with training opportunities we may need to adapt to the pandemic.
The Pre-school re-opened in June and we were still under strict covid restrictions, meaning we were unable to meet our families and friends. However due to the environment within the setting and the amazing relationship between the staff, I do not think we feel isolated or alone. It really almost as if we have our family and friends right here at work.
I do not think that I have thanked you enough for all you have done for us as staff and for the children in the past year, but everything you have done has been deeply appreciated.
